Overview
HtStudio is a free HTML editor and APK/EXE build website developed by EnderArcane Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data HtStudio collects, why it collects it and how it processes it.
1. Local Project Data
By default, your projects (HTML/CSS/JS code and settings) are stored only on your own device, in your browser's localStorage. If you never sign in, this data is not sent to any server unless you explicitly start a build process (see Section 4).
2. Google Sign-In and Account Data
HtStudio requires Google Sign-In, powered by Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, we receive basic profile information from Google (your name, email address and profile photo) to identify your account. A Google account is required to use HtStudio.
3. Cloud Backup (Firestore)
If you are signed in and use the Backup feature (on the Account page), your project data is uploaded to Google Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google under the Firebase name. This lets you restore your projects on another device. You can delete your backups at any time from the Backups screen.
4. Remote Builds
When you compile a project into an APK or EXE file, your project's code, app name, package name and (if any) custom app icon are sent to our build servers hosted on Hugging Face Spaces, solely to create your downloadable file. This data is processed temporarily to perform the build and is not used for any other purpose. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
HtStudio relies on the following third-party infrastructure, each subject to its own privacy policy: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore), Hugging Face Spaces (remote build servers) and Cloudflare Pages (web hosting).
6. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account data and cloud backups at any time by emailing us. Clearing your browser's local storage deletes all locally stored project data.
